Bailey Metal Fabricators is proud to be a family owned metal fabricating business located in Mitchell, SD.

Richard Bailey started in the welding business in 1957 and was in a partnership operating as B&F Welding from 1967 to 1960 when he purchased the business from his partner.

1985 Greg Bailey joined the business after graduating from high school & MTI.  A few years later in 1991 Ryan Bailey joined the business after graduating from high school & MTI. 

2002 We expanded our capacity and added 3000 sq. ft. to our shop.

2004 Greg and Ryan purchased Bailey Welding and made the change to Bailey Metal Fabricators Inc., the name change reflected the direction business was headed.  

2007 We purchased a 9 ton Broderson carry deck crane.

2008 We saw the need for even more capacity adding another 5400 sq. ft. to the shop complete with 5 ton bridge crane.

2009 We purchased a 300 ton Cincinnati CNC press brake.

2012 Heidi Bailey (Greg’s wife) joined the business as a draftsman & safety director.
Heidi comes to us with extensive experience in the laser cutting & sheet metal fabrication.

2012 purchased an Alltra Hy Performance CNC plasma table.

2016 purchased Hydmech M20A bandsaw. 30" x 20" capacity. Miter to 30 degrees.
